Sourcing an industrial component is rarely limited by manufacturing capability. It is limited by information.

Engineers, makers and product builders usually know exactly what they need — a particular seal, a specific gripster, a pump to a given duty point — and cannot find who makes it. The capability exists. The information does not travel. Catalogues are buried, untranslated, or filtered through layers of intermediaries who add margin and lose the technical detail on the way through.

That gap — an information bottleneck, not a manufacturing one — is what this directory was built to close.

What we do

We index manufacturers and their catalogues in English, organised the way engineers search rather than the way marketplaces merchandise. Every listing carries the factual detail that decides a sourcing decision: where the company is, what it makes, how long it has operated, its certifications, its export markets, and a route to contact it directly.

Where our suppliers are

Heavy manufacturing is strongly clustered by region — the region a company sits in is often a better predictor of capability than its company profile. Coverage today is concentrated in the export-manufacturing belts listed below, and widens as we work further branches of the taxonomy.

How we stay independent

Listings are not sold, and a supplier cannot pay to rank above another. We may earn a commission when a reader uses a clearly marked marketplace shopping link, at no extra cost to the reader. Where the data comes from

Company records are compiled from public information: the companies' own websites and published catalogues, trade-show exhibitor lists, industry association registers, and public business directories. We record facts — name, location, contact details, year founded, size, business type, certifications, export markets and product categories.

Descriptions on this site are written by us from those facts. We do not republish other directories' editorial text, product copy or photography. Where we discovered a company through another directory, we link to that original listing rather than reproducing it. A full breakdown is on the data sources page.

How listings are organised

Products and suppliers are classified into a taxonomy of sectors, categories and subcategories based on standard industrial classification practice. Suppliers can appear in multiple categories. Regional pages group suppliers by the manufacturing cluster they sit in.

The taxonomy is deliberately wider than our coverage. A category with no listed suppliers says so plainly rather than showing an empty grid, and we prioritise the branches buyers actually open — coverage follows demand rather than trying to be uniform.

What we reject

Not everything a company publishes is a product. Catalogue pages, blog headlines, image-gallery captions, pagination titles and keyword strings are all filtered out before a listing is created, and a record with no published specification is not created at all. Duplicate listings of the same part are merged; genuine variants are kept and distinguished by model.

Accuracy, corrections and removal

Records are compiled automatically and verified where possible against the company's own website. Details change, and some entries will be out of date or wrong. If you are a listed company and want your record corrected, updated or removed, contact us and we will action it.

Inclusion in this directory is not an endorsement, a certification, or a verification of any company's claims. Buyers should carry out their own due diligence — including verifying business licences, certifications and production capability — before placing orders.
